Spanning the globe (actually just NYC; I don’t
fly) to find the ultimate thrill in sketch comedy,
music and important news. I am hosting a variety
show that pulls no punches. My show does not
follow traditional talk show formats: an 8 minute
interview that cuts to commercials that sell
cars and beer, back to another stale-ass pre-scripted
interview with fake laugh tracks. Instead, my
format will have all of the guests on stage
at one time. We will discuss issues pertaining
to the failed state of our “democratic”
society. Past and recent projects the guests
are working on, global warming and how we can
try to raise awareness about these problems.
Think Henry Rollins, with actors, film clips,
and live music, as the nucleus of the program.
The location is set for the Soho Playhouse.
Date TBA
My first confirmed guests are:
Tony Musante
“The Incident” / “The Pope
of Greenwich Village” / “OZ”
Wayne Gurman, writer and star of the explosively
racially
charged “Bronx
Paradise”
Lt. Cmdr. Robert Hollis.
Served in The British Royal navy, aboard
Her Majesty’s Ship, the “Teazer”.
